Sweet Joe’s made their grand entrance with their very first brick and mortar store, and we were beyond stoked to take on the design for their flagship at Grand Central in Birmingham.
Of course, no project is without its challenges, especially when the space is on the snug side. But we’re not ones to shy away from a tight spot! We got creative by weaving in Sweet Joe’s bold brand colours and bringing in elements inspired by their mouth-watering treats.
Take the floor, for instance. We went all out with large-scale terrazzo flooring, loaded with chunky chocolate chip-sized flecks, just like the cookies! And that open-grid ceiling? A nod to the waffle shape. Every little detail came together to tell a “sweet” visual story, oozing the same vibrant, fun energy as the brand itself.
Since opening, the store has been delighting cookie lovers, serving up irresistible doughy creations with a rotating menu of monthly specials. What's not to love?
